We’re excited to bring authentic Detroit-style pizza to the East Bay! Every Friday, we roll out a new batch — and each week, it gets a little better. We make small tweaks based on what we learned the week before, dialing it in until we feel it’s as good as it can possibly get. When we feel we’ve perfected it, we’ll move on to a new type of Detroit pizza.

About us

In the late 1960s, a group of passionate individuals in southern New England embarked on a mission to craft exceptional sandwiches. Inspired by a commitment to quality and service, they founded Riccotti’s, opening dozens of sandwich shops around the region.

Today, over 50 years later, four Riccotti’s locations endure, each independently owned and operated. Among them stands Les’ Riccotti’s of Bristol, founded in 1971 by Les and Joanne Hubbard. With a family legacy spanning three generations, Riccotti’s continues to pride itself on delivering the finest subs in the state.

Over the years, we've been honored to receive a number of awards, including “Best of Rhode Island,” “Best of East Bay,” and “Critics Choice” awards for best Italian grinder.
