We’re excited to bring authentic Detroit style pizza to the East Bay! We’re currently working towards opening a Detroit Pizzeria right next door, and we’re doing small batches every Friday to help us learn and improve. Each week, we make small tweaks based on what we learned the week before, dialing it in until we feel it’s as good as it can possibly get.

About us

In the late 1960s, a group of passionate individuals in southern New England embarked on a mission to craft exceptional sandwiches. Inspired by a commitment to quality and service, they founded Riccotti’s, opening dozens of sandwich shops throughout New England.

Today, over 50 years later, just four Riccotti’s locations endure, each independently owned and operated. Among them stands Riccotti’s of Bristol, founded in 1971 by Les and Joanne Hubbard. With a family legacy spanning three generations, Riccotti’s continues to pride itself on delivering the finest submarine sandwiches in the state.

Over the years, we've been honored to receive a number of awards, including “Best of Rhode Island,” “Best of East Bay,” and “Critics Choice” awards for best Italian grinder and best sandwich shop in the state.
